This year, the crew got together so many times that we couldn’t fit all our pictures and experiences into one blog post. You might have read our previous post Happy Holiday from the Window Works Crew! We did it again, and we’re still not “Christmassed out!” We still have a few days to go, so please celebrate along with us.
The Karaoke Before Dinner
Yes, we just keep getting better and better at karaoke. Some people would say worse, but then what aren’t those people drinking? We’re looking at you, water glass with no alcohol! After all, you had free drink tickets! Some people even took advantage of the helium in those balloons after they’d had a few! But we’ve been paid off to not include those photos. Or videos.
The Christmas Tree at Union Square
The Christmas tree picture taking has turned into a tradition for the Window Works crew! Do you have a tradition where you work? Or is it different every year? Union Square has the best Christmas tree and it’s surrounded by vendors, ice skating, and lots of store windows all lit up. What’s not to like?
The Dinner at the Morton’s Steakhouse
Everyone ate way too much, and in fact a lot of us had to take food home or eat it as a midnight snack. After the appetizers, we had salads, steak or salmon, potatoes of many varieties, asparagus, green beans, and chocolate or cheesecake. And wine. And drinks.
The Afterparty
Some of us walked around, some of us went to Persona Bar, and some of us might have gotten a little lost trying to get somewhere else. There were a lot of embarrassing photos taken, and lots of light saber type of jousting.
The Black and Gold Experience
The theme for this year’s party was black and gold in 80s style! And of course we always had more than a little bit of rawr (aka tiger), too!
More Black and Gold
Everyone had all the best accessories, like Debbie with those crazy glasses! There were also earrings, beads, cravats (what the heck are those?), gold scarves, gloves, shiny gold shirts, and shoes.
Gratitude, again and again
Thank you everyone for hanging out with us. And special thanks to Donna for organizing everything and herding all the Christmas cats!
