Yummy food

Not only did we have tons of appetizers, if you look carefully, you’ll see all the other food. Shrimp with noodles, pork, hand pies with a variety of filling, rice, and pakoras with delish filling. There was also appetizers, dessert and a variety of beverages (even some non-alcoholic ones!). Mostly, we are savory food lovers, so there wasn’t a ton of dessert.

We needed a range of sizes of disco balls PLUS some sneaker ornaments!

Disco balls

Don’t even ask how we got all of these disco balls on the tree! Luckily, we’re a talented bunch (some talents cannot be listed on a resume, right?), and creativity won the day! There was also a ladder and some yelling involved, but we won’t get into that! The hard part was getting the mirrored ornaments behind the lights. The mirrored Christmas tree skirt helped amplify the ornaments, too.

A black Christmas tree?

Yes, we all discovered how much we love the aesthetic of the black Christmas tree. We’ve tried other colors in the past, but this one was mwah! (Chef’s kiss!) Here at Window Works, we have many many MANY reasons to celebrate! We celebrate birthdays, holidays, and the end of the year. We are always looking for any excuse to get together to eat, dance, and be merry. And sometimes that “be merry” part could even include some embarrassment if you know what we mean! (And we think you do!) Here are some recent photos from our parties, large and small. We have more in the works, too! Although we think about window film much of the time, there is more to us than window film.

Always Fashionable

Always fashionable…most of the time, anyways! We like to dress appropriately for work, which means jeans, steel-toed boots, and hard hats during the day. But when it’s party time, we just love to dress up! We even have themed parties during the year, and especially during the holidays. For some reason, many of our parties tend to include disco and karaoke. Go figure!

The disco balls, above, have mirrored sections to fit in with our Disco-themed party! Aren’t they fun? The blue lights add that extra sparkle and the silver is always welcome. Every year we have different colored trees. For instance, one year we did all pink trees: Tone-on-Tone Christmas Trees.

The Dudes of Window Works

The dudes of Window Works always manage to look cool no matter what. Here they are in a typical scenario, above. They might not look dressed up here, but just wait until we have our Christmas shindig! All the sparkle will come out then.

Going backwards in time to our Hot Pot Karaoke Party, here we are stuffing our faces again. There was lots of food, eating, and of course SINGING! The song titles were sometimes in other languages, so there was some confusion, but it was fun just the same!

Skate and Birthday Party

Thanks to backwards skating and backwards image finding, here’s the End of October Skate Parteee at the Church of Eight Wheels! Or should I say the Church of Eight Wheeeeeeeeeels?! Here’s where the rubber really meets the road, although sometimes we fell down and met the road that way, too. We’re actually all holding each other up at this point.

More Birthday Celebration!

For Donna’s birthday, we had a Diamonds and Denim party and above is a cute pic of a few of the ladies! It was so warm that day, and the ice cream cake got a little sad from the heat, but it was still yummy!
