Do you have a small office and are you in need of privacy? There are a few things you can do. For instance, have you considered that you could create privacy with blinds? Or how about securing your privacy with window film? Maybe you’ve seen window film in a variety of places, but haven’t considered film for your own office. Window film has come a long way, with all kinds of designs and better efficiency. And maybe you have a small office within a larger building, so you really need the privacy! For instance, in the photo above, this is the view you get as you exit a huge bank of elevators. Without window film, you’d be able to see everyone in the office. But with window film, you can see there’s furniture, but that’s about all.

Add blinds

Blinds are not a terrible choice as you can open and close them according to the time of day, temperature, and your needs. If there’s a big conference in your building you could obviously keep them closed all day. Or if you have a bunch of introverts on staff, that would also be a reason to keep them closed.

Using room dividers

Room dividers come in all sorts of varieties. Some can be added to already-existing office furniture, and some can be pushed up against windows. You could add a row of them to create a barrier. There are even some room dividers with real or fake hedges in them. Some can be indoor-outdoor, so that gives you even more flexibility. Have a rolling privacy screen

You can buy rolling privacy screens in many places. Home Depot, Wayfair, and even Target usually have them in stock. And because they’re on rollers, you can push them around all over the place. They’re easy to use, inexpensive, and you might even say they’re a little fun.

Pile up some boxes

If you have a lot of boxes, you can use them as a barrier of sorts. What else are you going to do with all those Amazon and Chewy boxes that keep on arriving? Show your creativity by using that cardboard. And you can even paint it! We’re kidding. Sort of.
